An aluminum door handle with lock must fit the finished door, lock body, spindle, cylinder and mounting pattern as one system. B2B approval should use a production-intent door sample rather than relying on appearance or a handle drawing alone.
Approve the handle, lock interface and fixings as one set.

HIPAD’s source library lists aluminum door handles with locks for 35-60 mm doors. The wider Custom Handle Sets family covers window handles, flush handles, interior levers and entry-door mortise sets, with published door or window thickness ranges of 30-80 mm depending on configuration.
Match the handle to the lock body
Start with the lock drawing. Confirm the backset, follower size, spindle section, cylinder center, fixing centers and required plate coverage. Then check that the lever clears the frame, seal and adjacent hardware throughout its movement.
Compared with generic replacement handles, an OEM set must control both visible and concealed interfaces. A matching finish does not prove that the spindle, follower or through-fixings will fit the selected lock body.
Verify the spindle, cylinder and fixing positions against the lock drawing.
Six checks before sample approval
Measure the finished door. Include skins, inserts, cladding and tolerance.
Freeze the lock body. Record the model, backset, follower, cylinder and fixing layout.
Confirm handing. State opening direction, handle orientation and any reversible parts.
Review the drawing. Mark spindle engagement, fastener length, projection and critical clearances.
Install the complete sample. Test lever return, latch or hook engagement, key operation and alignment.
Retain approval evidence. Keep the signed drawing, sample, finish standard, packaging and inspection criteria.
Common error: treating door thickness as the only dimension
Door thickness determines spindle and fastener requirements, but it does not define the complete fit. The frame clearance, lock backset, cylinder location, plate width and fixing centers can still make a nominally suitable handle unusable. Edge cases include clad doors and reinforced profiles where the visible thickness differs from the fixing stack.
Test lever return, handing and frame clearance on the intended door.
Material, finish and quotation evidence
The supplied reference identifies aluminum and zinc-alloy handle configurations plus steel/zinc-alloy and brass/steel lock options across related families. It does not disclose a universal product certificate number, corrosion rating, price or MOQ. Request the exact material, coating system, color tolerance, exposure requirement and model-specific test evidence.
HIPAD describes OEM/ODM support for dimensions, structures, logo engraving, private molds and customized packaging. Tooling, MOQ, price and lead time require a project quotation.
Preguntas frecuentes
What door thickness is covered by the published reference?
The source library lists aluminum door handles with locks for 35-60 mm doors. Confirm the exact handle and lock configuration before ordering.
Can one handle work with any lock body?
No. Backset, follower, spindle, cylinder and fixing centers must match the selected lock body.
How should handing be specified?
Provide the viewing side, hinge side, opening direction and required lever orientation. Do not rely only on the labels left and right.
Can the finish and packaging be customized?
HIPAD describes custom finish, logo and packaging support. Approval samples, quantity and project requirements determine feasibility and quotation.
